Ride-hailing company Lyft is beta testing with less 2% of its riders across different mobile platform starting today for essential and easier functionality of certain features for passengers associated with its app.

Again this ongoing beta testing is only available to small subset of Lyft user and rollout may take quantum amount of time for all consumers.
Lyft says via a spokesperson that the new look and feel is “an exercise to learn more about our users” but notes that there’s currently “no timeline for a broad rollout.” Instead, it’s seeking to gain insight which could make its way into “future app updates,” the company says.
